All patients and visitors on our main campus must enter our hospital via Shapiro, Menino, or Moakley buildings, where they will be greeted by team members at a new centralized check-in desk before continuing to the hospital. (BOSTON) — Jan. 23, 2024 — Boston Magazine released its annual list of the top doctors the region, recognizing more than 125 physicians and surgeons from Boston Medical Center (BMC). BMC's "Top Docs" represent experts, pioneers, and leaders across 47 specialties at BMC. 

The "Top Docs" list, according to Boston Magazine's website, is created in partnership with healthcare research firm Castle Connolly Medical Ltd. Its mission is to help patients and prospective patients find the region's "finest physicians," determined by their peers.

In addition to naming BMC's recognized doctors, the "Top Docs" issue features an article on the hospital's pioneering Center of Excellence in Sickle Cell Disease and its advancement into transformative gene therapy
