Physician & Affiliate Services

Welcome!
The mission of Physician & Affiliate Services is to provide easy access to Boston Medical Center programs and services for referring physicians, patients, families and the community. The Department is staffed by Nurse Liaisons who work to bring Boston Medical Center's clinical and research programs and services to an increasing number of patients throughout Massachusetts and the Northeast region.

Mission
The Department is staffed by three Nurse Liaisons who strive to:

•	Facilitate access to Boston Medical Center
•	Support referring physician organization relationships
•	Maintain the Directory of Physicians and Specialists
•	Support BMC's research mission


		In FY 2002: • 28,000 calls • 8,000 appointments/referrals • 200 clinical studies/screenings • 165 physician-to-physician consults
