Center For Digestive Disorders

About Digestive Disorders
The Center for Digestive Disorders was established at Boston Medical Center in 1999. Led jointly by directors from Boston Medical Center's gasroenterology and gastrointestinal surgery divisions, the Center brings together an interdisciplinary team of physicians, surgeons and other clinical experts to provide evaluation and treatment of a wide range of digestive disorders.

The Center includes six subspecialty cores. Each of these cores is co-chaired by a member of the
Section of Gastroenterology and the Department of Surgery to ensure an interdisciplinary approach. In addition, the Center includes clinical experts in nutrition, nursing, psychiatry, radiology, urology and other specialties. All inpatient and ambulatory services are structured around the patients and their complex needs.
