1-800-Age-Info: This website assists consumers and caregivers as well as professionals seeking information and resources on eldercare services. The site lists information on approximately 40,000 services and programs in Massachusetts for elders. You can also call this service at 1-800-AGE- INFO. (1-800-243-4636). TDD/TTY 1-800-872-0166.

Boston Elder Info: A city wide information services on many elder issues. Information and referral services are free to the public. 617-292-6211

Mass Aging: Provides a list of different types of elder housing ranging from independent living to nursing home care. 617-244-2999.

Temporary Housing: Elders Living at Home: This is a temporary housing program designed to assist homeless and at-risk older adults who are interested in pursuing permanent housing. The program uses studio apartments in four Boston Housing Authority elderly/disabled buildings as temporary shelter where clients can stay until they are helped to find permanent housing. The buildings are located in Dorchester, Jamaica Plain and the South End.  617-638-6139.
