For Older Patients

Our geriatrics physicians and nurse practitioners deliver primary care to elders at several of the best knowna number skilled nursing facilities located in Boston and Quincy. We provide both short-term rehabilitation care as well as long-term care.

Patients who receive these services:

• Those requiring a short-term stay for rehabilitation after hospitalization with the expectation of returning home.

• Those requiring long term care and are nursing home residents

Boston University Geriatrics Services clinicians are specifically  trained in the care of patients in this setting.

We insure continuity of care and clear communication between our clinicians in the primary care and hospital settings.
