Welcome to the Boston Medical Center Grants Administration web site. This site provides the tools necessary for all Principal Investigators, Program Directors and Administrators to successfully develop and manage their grants and contracts.

Grants Administration works closely with Principal Investigator's, Program Director's, and Administrators to ensure quality proposals and grant management throughout the life of the project.

	"HIPAA's Privacy Rule is in effect 4/14/03. The Rule will likely change how you collect health information as part of your research. The OCR has prepared a new web site with general information, forms, and instructions to acquaint you with the new requirements. (http://www.bumc.bu.edu/hipaa). Please refer to the site as you prepare your IRB applications." The NIH has also developed a website on "Privacy and Research", which is very informative.
