Primary Care

Services

We provide primary care with an emphasis on preventive medicine and health screening. We care for your medical problems when they arise, and also help you build a healthy lifestyle to prevent future problems.

You can choose your own primary care physician who will provide and coordinate all your care. Your physician works as part of a medical team within the practice. Each team has it's own waiting area and examination rooms, nursing staff and reception staff.

Wellness Care
We provide comprehensive preventive and wellness care, including routine physical exams and immunizations. We also provide regular screening and health counseling for HIV, cholesterol, high blood pressure, heart disease, sexually transmitted diseases, diabetes, and cancer.

Urgent Care
We help treat acute problems such as coughs, flu, sore throats, stomachache, sprains and other common medical complaints. When you are sick, please call the office before you come in. We will make every possible attempt to see you. If your regular doctor is not available, we will schedule you with another physician or a physician's assistant. A doctor is always on call when the office is closed. To access the on-call physician, please call the office and our answering service will page the on-call physician.

Chronic Care
We provide ongoing evaluation and treatment of any chronic conditions you may have. Because we are all board certified in Internal Medicine, we have the expertise to help you manage asthma, high blood pressure, diabetes, heart disease, and many other conditions and illnesses.

Medications
For your convenience a pharmacy is located in our lobby.

Specialty Care
Our primary care services are complemented by a full spectrum of specialty services at Boston Medical Center. If you need surgery, we will coordinate the care you receive from us, your surgeon, your anesthesiologist and any other specialists.

Inpatient Care
Should you need to be hospitalized, our location at a major medical center allows a smooth admission process. A specialized in-patient hospital team will provide your care during your stay. Your primary care doctor may not be your main doctor while you are hospitalized but will continue to coordinate your care while you are in the hospital.
