Gastroenterology

A working partnership

We know that it is important for you to maintain your relationship with your patient while taking advantage of the specialty care we offer. We provide the diagnostic service you request, recommend a treatment plan and return your patient to your care. Through open, prompt communication, we make your patient's transitions as smooth as possible. Should you and your patient choose our treatment services, we will keep in close communication with you about your patient's progress.

Prompt consultations and appointments

Your patient will be seen promptly, and urgent (including next day) appointments can be arranged. Patients can be seen at the Moakley Building or at our office at the Commonwealth Medical Group, located at 930 Commonwealth Avenue. Our evaluation will be sent to you by phone, fax, or mail.

Cost-effective care

Our staff is responsive to the challenges of health care today, which call for care to be delivered in an efficient, cost-effective manner. We work with referring physicians to provide an appropriate level of care, without sacrificing quality, and we use resource in a prudent manner, while striving to meet the needs of our patients.

Staff

Our well-trained physicians are recognized both nationally and internationally as leaders in their respective areas of expertise. We provide comprehensive services and multidisciplinary care for routine and complex problems through the Center for Digestive Disorders (CDD) at Boston Medical Center. The CDD brings together gastroenterologists, surgeons, radiologists, gynecologists, pathologists, nutritionists, and other specialists to work in a cohesive and cooperative manner, thereby enabling "same day" consultation with gastroenterology and other specialists. All CDD physicians are full-time staff members at Boston Medical Center and on the faculty of the Boston University School of Medicine.
