...is an Associate Professor of Medicine at Boston University School of Medicine and the Medical Director of the DaVita Boston Outpatient Dialysis Unit. She received her medical degree from Yale University School of Medicine and her Internal Medicine Residency training at the University of Pennsylvania. She completed her Nephrology Fellowship training at the University of Pennsylvania and at Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston. Dr. Dember's clinical interests include glomerular disease, chronic kidney disease, and dialysis. In addition, Dr. Dember is a member of the Boston University Amyloid Treatment and Research Program and is an internationally recognized expert in amyloidosis-associated kidney disease and monoclonal immunoglobulin deposition diseases. She has active clinical research programs in end-stage renal disease and renal amyloidosis, and is a Co-Editor of the American Journal of Kidney Diseases.
