A diversified physician workforce is vital to the goal of achieving excellence and better serving our diverse patient population. The Minority Physician Recruitment Program along with the BUSM Office of Diversity & Multicultural work to attract and retain underrepresented minority (URM) physicians at one of the most prestigious teaching hospitals in the country.

Mentorship & Networking

The Minority Physician Recruitment Program in collaboration with the Office of Diversity & Multicultural Affairs supports a structured mentorship program for URM faculty to mentor URM medical students, residents and fellows at Boston Medical Center & Boston University School of Medicine. In addition, the MRP host several networking receptions throughout the year to help build community between URM medical students, housestaff, and faculty.

Our medical campus offers a variety of primary care, advanced specialty, and post doctoral research opportunites. The Minority Physician Recruitment Program connects qualified minority applicants to the appropriate departments within BMC/BUSM.
