Welcome to Nursing at Boston Medical Center. The foundation of nursing here is the professional pride we embody, the challenge we accept, and the commitment we make to care for and to nurture our patients, their families, our community, and one another.
Led by Mary Jo Pedulla, RNC, MS, the Director of Nursing Maternal Child Health Center at BMC and the Interim Vice President of Nursing, Boston Medical Center nurses are at the forefront of health care.
Prior to joining BMC, Mary Jo served as the Manager of Maternity Services at Cambridge Health Alliance and Manager of BMC’s Mother/Baby Unit for three years. Mary Jo received her BSN from the University of Rhode Island and a Master of Science Management from Lesley University. She received certification in maternal newborn nursing in 1994.
