Continuity Clinic: PGY-2 through PGY-4Each resident has continuity clinic in the last three yeas of residency. It is a half-day per week ambulatory experience that focuses on antepartum and postpartum care, family planning, general, gynecology, and preventative health care. The focus of the continuity clinic is ambulatory history taking, the outpatient pysical exam, mastery of common office procedures, health screening and immunizations, and patient education and counseling. Residents are expected to be the primary physician for their patients. We encourage our residents to attend the deliveries or cesarean sections of their patients, schedule and perform their gynecologic surgery, and manage their healthcare needs as appropriate.
