The outpatient clinic provides evaluation and treatment to a variety of medical and dental conditions affecting the head and neck area. Our doctors have extensive experience in management of patients with facial deformities, dental implants, TMJ pain, sleep apnea and snoring, tumors and cancers of the head and neck area, plastic and reconstructive surgery, facial trauma, cancer and other diseases of the oral cavity.

Clinic Operations
The clinic operates on a daily basis from 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM. Patients are seen only on a referral basis from a health center or other health care providers. Please arrive at least 15 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment to allow for registration. If this is your first visit to Boston Medical Center, please bring with you a Photo ID, and a copy of your medical and dental insurance card. Also bring a list of your medications and a referral from your dentist or doctor indicating the reason for your visit.

Managed Care
Most managed care plans require a primary care referral to cover your visit and evaluation. It is the patient’s responsibility to obtain the primary care referral. Please contact your primary care physician’s office and ask them to fax the referral to 617.414.5203. If a referral is not obtained, most managed care plans are likely to deny the visit and shift the cost to you.

After Hours and Emergencies

24/7 on-call coverage is available on-site. Existing patients should call 617.638.8000 and ask for the oral and maxillofacial surgery on-call resident to be paged.

Parking

Parking is available at 710 Albany Street Parking Garage. Valet parking is available in front of the Menino Pavilion (closest to Yawkey 5 practice location) at 840 Harrison Avenue.
