Free shuttles service the Medical Campus Area community. See schedules listed below for the exact times and destinations.

Please Note: schedules are subject to change. All shuttles run Monday thru Friday only (no service on weekends or holidays).

Travel time is approximate due to traffic, weather and construction conditions. Drivers are authorized to stop only at designated locations. Thank you for your cooperation.

By Shuttle ─ All-Day Medical Campus Shuttle

This bus operates Monday thru Friday (except holidays) from 6:30 AM to 6:30 PM on a continuous loop, leaving 1010 Mass Ave approximately every 30 minutes. This shuttle travels the following route at these approximate times due to conditions such as traffic, weather and construction:

1010 Mass Avenue
Board at 1000 Mass Ave (MBTA bus stop opposite Magazine Street). Leaves at: 6:30 AM, 7:00 AM, 7:30 AM, etc. until 6:00 PM

Bradston Street Parking Lot
Board at the Parking Lot EXIT at 6:32 AM, 7:02 AM, 7:32 AM, etc, until 6:02 PM

BMC / Albany Street
Board at MBTA bus stop across from Emergency Entrance. Leaves at: 6:35 AM, 7:05 AM, 7:35 AM, etc. until 6:05 PM

BMC / 88 East Newton Street
Board at bus shelter in front of Newton Pavilion’s main entrance . Leaves at: 6:40 AM, 7:10 AM, 7:40 AM, etc., until 6:10 PM

560 Harrison Avenue
Board in front of 89 Union Park Street at red awning. Leaves at: 6:45 AM, 7:15 AM, 7:45 AM, etc., until 6:15 PM
NOTE: Bus returns to Newton Pavilion/E. Newton Street by REQUESTS only.

BMC / 840 Harrison Avenue
Board at mailboxes in front of Menino Pavilion. Leaves at: 6:50 AM, 7:20 AM, 7:50 AM, etc., until 6:20 PM

BMC / East Concord Street
Board at the MBTA bus shelter. Leaves at: 6:52 AM, 7:22 AM, 7:52 AM, etc., until 6:22 PM

Please Note: Drivers may stop at Gambro, 660 Harrison Ave ON REQUEST.

The inner campus shuttle operates Monday thru Friday (except holidays) from 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM on a continuous loop from BMC/Newton Pavilion (88 East Newton Street). For further information or to schedule a specific pick-up, call 617.638.6874.

By Shuttle – Evening Shuttle

The Evening Shuttle boards at ONE CENTRAL STOP located at 710 Albany Street / Albany Street Garage. This site is indoor, well-lit and includes a 24-hour staff on site.

The Shuttle Travels ON REQUEST to:

• A-Lot Parking Facility
  
• MBTA Stations:  Andrews(Red), Broadway (Red), Ruggles (Orange), Back Bay (Orange), and Copley (Green)
  
• South End Neighborhood Locations

By Shuttle – Evening & Weekend Escort Service

An escort service to Boston University Medical Campus (BUMC) parking facilities and Broadway Station of the MBTA is available for BUMC commuters and visitors weekdays, midnight to 6 AM, and at all hours during weekends and official holidays. The escort service can be requested at the BMC Newton Pavilion Security desk, located in the lobby, or at the BMC Menino Pavilion Security desk on the ground floor near the Emergency Department.

People requesting escort services are required to sign the Security register and to present proper identification. Security personnel are not authorized to drop a passenger off anywhere except at his or her vehicle in a BUMC parking facility or at a BUMC facility or Broadway MBTA Station.

There are occasional delays when the Security vehicle is being used for an emergency, so please call ahead to Security at 617.638.4444 for BMC East Newton Street Campus or 617.414.4444 for BUMC Harrison Avenue Campus before going to the Security desk.

By Shuttle – Boston VA Medical Center Shuttle

The Boston VA Medical Center Shuttle travels between BMC/Newton Pavilion and the VA Medical Center several times a day. The shuttle bus is a dedicated resource of the Boston VA Medical Center and operates daily, Monday thru Friday.
