2015 Growth & Development Programs: Supply Drive
Many of the malnourished children and their families served in the Grow Clinic are struggling with the cost of heat, food, and shelter year round. Finding additional funds to provide children with basic necessities is difficult indeed. With your help, we can help children and their families. Your donations and support can ensure that our yearly drive reaches not only our patients, but also their siblings, so that the whole family is stronger.
Please review the supply donation listing to help you plan your donation.
You can drop your donations off anytime, Monday – Friday from 9 am – 5 pm. Please save the date for our annual holiday party taking place, Thursday, December 17th, 2015, stay tuned for more details on our annual toy drive starting Monday October 5th, 2015 to support the children and siblings of the Grow Clinic.
The Grow Clinic for Children is a unique and successful program for the treatment of Failure To Thrive (FTT) in young children. Although outreach services are part of the reason why the Clinic is so successful, these services are outside the traditional medical model and not supported by insurance or any government programs. The clinic relies exclusively on private donations to run these essential outreach services.
The average new referral is much younger and more acutely ill than ever. However, because of the generosity of our donors, the waiting time for new FTT children has decreased to 1-6 weeks, down from 3-4 months when the clinic first began in 1984. In order to continue to provide services to the children in our area, the clinic must receive private support.
Donations are desperately needed to fund the food pantry, transportation and community outreach services, as well as medical, nutritional and social work hours.

Monetary Donation: Make a financial contribution or sponsor a family. The clinic recently established a program where donors sponsor the services provided to one child for one year. A $1,000 donation provides special medical care for a child while a $2,500 donation provides a child with medical care, food and nutritional supplements, plus supportive outreach services for his/her family for one year. You may also specify how your contribution is to be used -- to send a child to summer camp, stock the food pantry, provide medical and nutritional services or support general operating expenses.
