The Young Men's Health Clinic at Boston Medical Center is designed to meet the needs of young men between the ages of 17 and 30. In this clinic, providers are attentive to the unique needs of young men who are often transitioning from adolescent to adult care, or who are dealing with preventable medical problems and want to improve their health.

Patients in the Young Men's Health Clinic can take advantage a full range of primary care services and enjoy the benefits of having a doctor and clinic staff who specialize in men's health and who will focus on their unique health care needs. Services offered include:


  •  Complete physical exams (including fitness club or sports physicals)
  •  Routine blood tests including cholesterol, blood counts
  •  Customized sexual health assessment and education
  •  Sexually transmitted disease screening
  •  Stress assessment and stress reduction education
  •  Routine vaccination updates
  •  Fitness and nutritional counseling
  •  Body composition analysis (includes body mass index, body fat measurement)
  •  Injury prevention education
  •  Dental education and referral to community dental services
  •  Social work and case management services
  •  Referral to dermatology, orthopedics, urology, psychologist, physical therapy, as needed.
  •  Referral to community-based programs for education, employment or fatherhood empowerment.
