About

Christine S. Ament, MD, is a board-certified ophthalmologist at Boston Medical Center (BMC) and an assistant professor of ophthalmology at Boston University Chobanian and Avedisian School of Medicine. Dr. Ament serves as volunteer faculty at Boston University and BMC. She also serves on the faculty of the American Academy of Ophthalmology Skills Course on Advanced Refractive Cataract Surgery and Anterior Segment Reconstruction. Dr. Ament has published over twenty-five original articles, presentations, and abstracts and edited a textbook on cataract surgery. She is currently a reviewer for the Journal of Cataract and Refractive Surgery. Along with comprehensive ophthalmology, her areas of interest include cataract surgery and medical/laser management of glaucoma.
