About

Dr. Kang is a trauma and acute care surgeon in the Department of Surgery at Boston Medical Center and is an Assistant Professor of Surgery at the Boston University Chobanian & Avedisian School of Medicine. She received her medical degree from Texas Tech University Health and Sciences Center and completed general surgery residency at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago. Dr. Kang also completed a surgical critical care fellowship at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. Her research interests include interpersonal violence and recidivism prevention with a special focus on community-level involvement and grassroots effort.
