Rachel J. Levy-Bell, PsyD, is a licensed psychologist at Boston Medical Center (BMC) and a clinical associate professor at Boston University Chobanian & Avedisian School of Medicine, where she is also the assistant program director and director of clinical training in the Mental Health Counseling & Behavioral Medicine Program. Dr. Levy-Bell received her doctorate from the Chicago School of Professional Psychology, where she graduated with honors, before her residency training at Temple University Hospital and her postdoctoral training at BMC's Dr. Solomon Carter Fuller Mental Health Center. She has worked in emergency services, inpatient psychiatry, rape crisis, outpatient, and medical inpatient services. Dr. Levy-Bell’s clinical and research experiences are in the areas of HIV disease in multicultural populations, cross-cultural psychology, medical psychology in the realm of organ transplantation, and disaster psychology.
