Changes to what you eat can be helpful for controlling seizures in some people with epilepsy. These diets generally have low carbohydrates and high fats.

The most common diet used to help control seizures is the ketogenic, or keto, diet. If you have epilepsy, you should only do this diet or any other diet with the help of your doctor.
