Avner Aliphas, MD, is a board-certified otolaryngologist at Boston Medical Center (BMC), Massachusetts Eye and Ear Hospital, and Newton-Wellesley Hospital. He is also an Assistant Professor of Otolaryngology–Head & Neck Surgery at the Boston University Chobanian & Avedisian School of Medicine, where he teaches medical students and residents about sinus/allergy and otologic diseases in a clinical setting.

Dr. Aliphas received his medical degree from the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania and did both his internship and residency at Boston University Medical Center. Additionally, he completed a master’s in Biomedical Engineering at Boston University.

Dr. Aliphas has been in practice for over ten years and has expertise in head and neck surgery, ear surgery, adult and pediatric ear diseases, neck masses, tympanic membrane perforation, salivary gland tumors, larynx disorder, nasal disorders, and sinus disease.
