As a Clinical Associate Professor of Pediatrics at BU Chobanian & Avedisian School of Medicine, I conduct medical education research, lead education programs, and teach medical students and pediatric residents. In the research domain, I have authored 27 peer-reviewed manuscripts. I led 3 multi-center randomized controlled trials of medical education interventions and was awarded the national “Academic Pediatric Association Ray
... E. Helfer Award for Innovation in Pediatric Education.” My leadership experiences in medical education includes having serving as the Pediatric Clerkship Director at BUCASM and directing a HRSA-supported primary care training and enhancement junior faculty development program at Boston Medical Center. In the education domain, I teach clinical reasoning to first- and second-year medical students in their required Doctoring courses at BUCASM, and regularly teach residents practicing in the primary care clinic at BMC.
