About

Katharine B. Hutchinson, DrPH, CNM, MSN, is a certified nurse midwife with the Refugee Women's Health Clinic (RWHC) at Boston Medical Center (BMC). She has extensive clinical experience, with a focus on refugee care and advocacy, reproductive health, and primary care. Ms. Hutchinson is also a public health researcher and an assistant professor of Obstetrics-Gynecology at Boston University Chobanian & Avedisian School of Medicine. Her research focuses on women's access to maternity care and quality of care assessment. She received an MSN from Yale University School of Nursing and a PhD from Boston University School of Public Health.
