About

Lana Habash, MD, is a family medicine specialist at Boston Medical Center (BMC) and an assistant professor of Family Medicine at Boston University Chobanian & Avedisian School of Medicine. Dr. Habash specializes in homeless health care, domestic violence, cultural sensitivity, refugee health, and social justice in medicine. She is experienced in providing maternal-infant health to urban underserved populations within the community healthcare setting, and has worked extensively with the Boston Health Care for the Homeless Program. Dr. Habash is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians and the American Medical Women’s Association, and has received several awards and honors, including the Howard C. Silver Scholarship for accomplishments in community service and the Humanism in Medicine Award.
