About

Lucy Marcil, MD, MPH, is a pediatrician and Associate Director for Economic Mobility in the Center for the Urban Child and Healthy Family at Boston Medical Center (BMC). Dr. Marcil is also an assistant professor of General Pediatrics at Boston University Chobanian & Avedisian School of Medicine, and the co-founder and Executive Director of Boston Medical Center’s (BMC) StreetCred program, a non-profit providing anti-poverty financial services in pediatric waiting rooms. Dr. Marcil is passionate about working with children and families and innovating to protect children from the adversity of growing up with financial stress. She is a TED Fellow and the recipient of the American Academy of Pediatrics Anne E. Dyson Child Advocacy Award.
