About

Sonia Ananthakrishnan, MD is an endocrinologist at Boston Medical Center (BMC), specializing in neuroendocrinology and diabetes. Dr. Ananthakrishnan received her medical degree from Northwestern University School of Medicine and a master’s degree from Boston University School of Public Health. She has been practicing for over 15 years, and is also an assistant professor and the Director of Student Education in the Department of Medicine at Boston University Chobanian & Avedisian School of Medicine. In her role there, Dr. Ananthakrishnan works to reduce bias and support other initiatives that promote a healthy clinical learning environment.
