Dr. Armando Uribe Rivera obtained his DDS from the Universidad Autonoma de Nuevo Leon, in Monterrey, Mexico. He obtained his Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Residency Certificate from the Centro Medico Nacional “20 de Noviembre” ISSSTE in Mexico City. After his OMS training, Dr. Uribe Rivera furthered his education with a Fellowship in Craniofacial Surgery, with a special interest in mandibular
... distraction and surgical management of cranial vault techniques in an internationally-renowned Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery department in Mexico. Dr. Uribe Rivera has also completed a Research Fellowship from the University of Cincinnati and a Master of Science diploma in Clinical Investigation program from the University of Rochester. He is presently responsible for helping design clinical investigations in our department and guide resident research. Armando also coordinates international surgical mission trips for our residents to increase their exposure to cleft and craniofacial surgery.
