About

Dr. Pisegna is an ASHA certified Speech Language Pathologist. Her clinical practice at Boston Medical Center focuses on rehabilitation of adult swallowing, voicing, and speech disorders. She centers her research on adult diagnostics and rehabilitation of swallowing, particularly evaluation and treatment methodology as it relates to clinical outcomes. Her expertise is in Flexible Endoscopic Evaluation of Swallowing (FEES). Dr. Pisegna is dedicated to the clinical care and research for outcomes, as well as teaching. She has mentored multiple graduate students, medical students, and clinical fellows. Dr. Pisegna has numerous publications and regularly contributes to academic forums.
