Dr. Binus is in the part-time private practice of clinical psychiatry outside Boston Medical Center since 1975.
He is Director of Psychotherapy Education for the Psychiatry Residency Training Program at Boston University School of Medicine/Boston Medical Center and a Clinical Associate Professor Emeritus of Psychiatry at Boston University School of Medicine.

... Training Program and has been associated with BMC and Boston University School of Medicine in a teaching capacity for 48 years.
While doing part time private practice, his main job was at the Edith Nourse Rogers Memorial Veterans Hospital (ENRMVH) in Bedford, Massachusetts. There he held clinical positions and a variety of leadership positions. For 12 years before his retirement from the VA he was Chief of Staff there.
His passionate interest is practicing and teaching psychoanalytic psychotherapy as an integral part of medicine and psychiatry.
