BMCHS’ leadership in green healthcare

Robert (Bob) Biggio oversees sustainability initiatives and major capital projects, with the goal of furthering BMCHS’ leadership in green healthcare.

Prior to joining in 2011, Biggio served in executive roles for Massachusetts Eye & Ear Infirmary and Hallmark Health System. He received his Bachelor of Science in marine engineering from Massachusetts Maritime Academy. 

Biggio is a board member for Oakwell, a sustainability management and real estate optimization firm, where he leads the board-level governance and sustainability strategies that should increase access to healthcare over time.
