Campus Construction Update

Starting September 14, we’re closing the Menino building lobby entrance. This, along with the ongoing Yawkey building entrance closure, will help us bring you an even better campus experience that matches the exceptional care you've come to expect. About

Sabrina A Assoumou, MD, MPH is an infectious disease specialist at Boston Medical Center (BMC) and the inaugural Louis W. Sullivan, MD, Professor of Medicine at Boston University Chobanian & Avedisian School of Medicine, where she teaches classes in infectious diseases. Dr. Assoumou is an expert in caring for patients with human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) and Hepatitis C virus (HCV). Her research focuses on medical complications of substance use including HIV and HCV, having published in multiple scientific journals and presented at multiple scientific meetings in the U.S. and internationally. Dr. Assoumou contributed her expertise to Boston’s COVID-19 prevention efforts, and was appointed by Mayor Michelle Wu to the City of Boston’s COVID-19 Advisory Committee.
