Granulomatous mastitis is a rare, non-cancerous breast condition. It can cause:

  • Painful lumps in the breast
  • Redness and swelling in the breast
  • Nipple inversion
  • Pitted skin on the breast
  • Inflammation
  • Breast abscesses or lesions

This condition is most common in women who have had children and have not yet gone through menopause.
