Sebra's Story

After almost 40 years as a nurse and case manager at BMC, Sebra Barcuis, MSN RN CCM, retired in 2014 to care for her mother’s complex medical needs. Her mother sadly passed away in 2021. A year later, Sebra joined BMC’s Patient Family Advisory Council (PFAC) to lend her invaluable perspective as both a patient’s loved one and a former employee. Our PFAC brings together a diverse group of patients, families, and staff every month to help improve the patient experience and achieve our mission of equitable care for all. Thank you, Sebra!
