Our Pediatric Neurology research centers on epilepsy. Since 2016, Telehealth Epilepsy Care Collaborative (TECC) has served nearly 4,000 children and youth with epilepsy through its innovative telehealth projects, with two-thirds of those reached residing in underserved communities. TECC's study team utilizes quality improvement strategies, community-based participatory research methods, and key principles from the field of implementation science to meaningfully effect change within local systems of care.
