The Yawkey building entrance is now closed.

As of April 29, BMC’s Yawkey building doors are closed as an entrance. All patients and visitors on our main campus must enter the hospital via the Shapiro, Menino, or Moakley buildings, where they will be greeted by team members at a new centralized check-in desk. Learn more.

The Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) Service at Boston Medical Center is a specialty service within the Adult Outpatient Psychiatric Clinic, which provides care to patients suffering from major depressive disorder, particularly those who have failed multiple antidepressant trials or experienced side effects.

Referrals can be made via EPIC by searching “TMS” in orders or by filling a referral form available here. To be eligible for our services, patients must have a referring clinician or prescriber who follow them longitudinally for routine psychiatric care.

For more information or to make a referral please email TMS@bmc.org or call 617-414-2361.
