We will soon begin repaving the main driveway outside the Yawkey, Menino, and Moakley buildings. Weather permitting, driveway closures are scheduled for the following weekends, from Friday at 8 p.m. through Sunday at 8 p.m., on the following dates: Sept. 19-21, Sept. 26-28, Oct. 17-19, and Oct. 24-26.

Access Changes During Construction:

Pedestrian Access: Patients and visitors will be able to enter Moakley through the entrance on East Concord Street.

Vehicle Access: Vehicular traffic should use the designated drop-off and pick-up area on East Concord Street or the 710 Albany Street Garage. Signage will indicate where metered parking has been blocked off to create a drop-off/pick-up zone (on E. Concord between Harrison and the Moakley side entrance).

Shrimp and mango tacos are a quick and easy recipe to make for taco night! The mangos add an element of sweetness and provide a vibrant color. Adding some chopped jalapeno on top can also add some extra heat if desired!

Ingredients

Mango – 1 large Cilantro – ¼ cup fresh Red_onion – ½ medium Garlic_powder – 1.5 Tablespoons Cumin – 1 teaspoon Chili_powder – 2 Tablespoons Salt – 1 teaspoon Canola_oil – 2 Tablespoons Shrimp – 1 pound medium or small Lime – 1 medium Tortillas – 6-8 small corn or flour

Instructions

Step 1
1. On a cutting board, finely chop the mango and cilantro, dice the red onion, and set aside.
Step 2
2. Cut the shrimp into small cubes and pat with a paper towel to get rid of excess moisture.
Step 3
3. In a medium bowl, combine and mix the garlic powder, cumin, and chili powder. Place the cubed shrimp into the bowl and mix all the ingredients together.
Step 4
4. Heat a large frying pan over medium-heat and add the canola oil. When the oil is hot, add the shrimp into the pan. Sauté or stir the pan until the shrimp begins to change color, around 3 minutes. Take it off the heat and drain the shrimp of any extra moisture.
Step 5
5. Return the pan back to the stove and add the mango, cilantro, and stir together for one minute. Stir in the lime juice and remove from the heat.
Step 6
6. Place 3-4 tortillas at a time on a plate and cover with a slightly damp paper towel and microwave for 30 seconds.
Step 7
7. Place 2 tortillas on each plate and add the shrimp mix.
Step 8
8. Top it off with a sprinkle of salt.
