Vose Hall is currently undergoing demolition. It has been vacant due to deficiencies, making the building unsuitable for its previous administrative use. Due to the facility conditions assessments and the need for excessive renovations to create acceptable clinical, research, or administrative space, Boston Medical Center plans to demolish both Vose Hall and Belatron — a small one-story structure attached to the east elevation of Vose Hall — and replace them with the new 10 Stoughton Street Building.
