Within the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, the Section of Global Health brings an international lens to the educational, research, and programmatic pursuits of the department. The section is focused on offering educational activities and promoting sustainable and ethical involvement in international work for faculty and staff interested in the field of global reproductive health.

Objective
To promote and foster a commitment to global reproductive health through support, education, program development, research, and collaboration
Specific Aims
To support long-term sustainable projects for underserved populations both domestically and abroad
- To facilitate collaboration and learning about global health within the Department
- To provide mentorship and guidance for students, residents and faculty interested in global health
- To provide a conduit for research, programmatic, and clinical opportunities for students, residents and faculty interested in international experiences
- To pursue scholarship in global health
