About

John (Sean), G. Palfrey, MD, is a board-certified pediatrician at Boston Medical Center (BMC) and a clinical professor of pediatrics in Ambulatory Care Services at Boston University Chobanian & Avedisian School of Medicine. Dr. Palfrey is a 1967 graduate of Harvard College and attended medical school at Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons. He completed his residency at Tufts New England Medical Center. Dr. Palfrey has practiced and taught clinical medicine in Massachusetts for more than forty years. He is dedicated to advocating for better child health programs and policies and the prevention of illness and sadness. Dr. Palfrey served as president of the Massachusetts Chapter of the American Academy of Pediatrics and he has been a legislative advocate for child health programs and policies since the late 1970s.
