About

J Mark Sloan, MD, is a hematologist at Boston Medical Center (BMC), specializing in benign and malignant blood disorders, including AL Amyloidosis, lymphoma, leukemia, multiple myeloma, and thrombosis. Dr. Sloan is also an associate professor of Medicine at Boston University Chobanian & Avedisian School of Medicine, a member of the Boston University-BMC Cancer Center, and a member of the Boston University Amyloidosis Center. Dr. Sloan received his medical degree and completed a fellowship at the Yale School of Medicine. He went on to complete a fellowship in hematology/oncology at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and Massachusetts General Hospital. Dr. Sloan is a member of the Evans Center for Interdisciplinary Biomedical Research at Boston University, and his research interests focus on primary (AL) amyloidosis and HTLV-1 associated leukemia/lymphoma (ATLL).
