About

Kaye A. Bemis, DNP, APRN-BC is the Chief Advanced Care Provider and Clinical Research Manager for the Department of Orthopedic Surgery at Boston Medical Center and an Assistant Professor at Boston University Chobanian & Avesidian School of Medicine. She received her Bachelors of Science in nursing from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst (2001), Masters of Science in Primary Care/Adult Nurse Practitioner from Northeastern University (2003), RNFA degree from Northeastern University (2008), and Doctorate or Nursing Practice from Simmons University (2023). She joined the Department of Orthopedic Surgery at Boston Medical Center in 2004. In 2021, she was the recipient of a 2020 Advanced Practice Provider Clinical Excellence Award by the BUMG and inducted into the BUMG Clinical Excellence Society. In addition to being responsible for the management of many multicenter studies, Kaye has an interest in multidisciplinary quality improvement and patient safety initiatives.
