Sarah Kirshenbaum, LICSW is Clinical Supervisor for Integrated Behavioral Health, Dept of Psychiatry has a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Occidental College and obtained a Masters in Social Work at Columbia University School of Social Work. Sarah obtained post-masters’ clinical certification in the Relational and Multi-contextual Treatment of Trauma, Certified Child-Parent Psychotherapy and certificate in Psychological First Aid. Sarah volunteers as a critical incident responder for local trauma team. Sarah provides clinical work with trauma and cultural humility lens, meeting the individual and families where they are. Sarah provides trauma informed training to primary care providers. Sarah provides clinical supervision to Integrated Behavioral health clinicians and supports the development and expansion of integrated behavioral health service in over 15 different clinics/programs at BMC.
