Campus Construction Update

Starting September 14, we’re closing the Menino building lobby entrance. This, along with the ongoing Yawkey building entrance closure, will help us bring you an even better campus experience that matches the exceptional care you've come to expect. About

Shannon L. Bell, MD, is a board-certified obstetrician-gynecologist at Boston Medical Center (BMC). She is also an assistant professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Boston University Chobanian and Avedisian School of Medicine. Dr. Bell’s interests include the role of simulation in quality improvement/patient safety projects and resident skill development, and she is an associate clinical director of BMC’s Solomont Center for Clinical Simulation. Additionally, her work includes serving as the ob-gyn consultant for the state Department of Corrections where she sees prenatal and gynecology patients at MCI-Framingham and South Middlesex. Her passion for helping others led her to develop and serve as course director for a correctional health elective for BUSM fourth-year medical students.
