This, along with the ongoing Yawkey building entrance closure, will help us bring you an even better campus experience that matches the exceptional care you've come to expect. Please enter the Menino and Yawkey buildings through the Moakley building, and make sure to leave extra time to get to your appointment. Thank you for your patience.

Growing older can present numerous challenges, from not being able to get from place to place to losing independence, it can all be very overwhelming for patients and the loved ones that care for them.

BMC’s Geriatrics Home Care program aims to make this change as seamless as possible by providing a coordinated team approach for your loved ones, helping them preserve as much of their independence as possible. Through the Home Care program, patients receive their primary care at home while their care team coordinates other needed medical services such as ophthalmology, podiatry, hearing services and psychiatry.

The oldest continuously operating in-home medical service in the United States, BMC’s Home Care program serves patients who cannot leave their home without assistance. Giving patients and their loved ones another alternative to Nursing Homes and assisted living facilities, while allowing them to stay in their homes as long as possible. Patients are given the chance to be as independent as they can be with 24/7 phone access to medical providers.

The joint care approach offered by the Home Care program provides access to necessary services, while allowing patients and their families to focus on quality of life and their care rather than tracking down services. Tied with feelings of independence and significant cost savings, Home Care options ensure that your loved ones are able to get the care they need from the comfort of their own home.
