Campus Construction Update

Starting September 14, we’re closing the Menino building lobby entrance. This, along with the ongoing Yawkey building entrance closure, will help us bring you an even better campus experience that matches the exceptional care you've come to expect. Please enter the Menino and Yawkey buildings through the Moakley building, and make sure to leave extra time to get to your appointment. Thank you for your patience.

Blepharoplasty is aimed to reduce the excess of the skin of the eyelids as well as any swelling or sagging of the fat around the eye.

These common effects of aging can result in a tired or sad facial expression. While most eyelid procedures are performed for cosmetic defects, some individuals experience a loss of their visual fields as a result of overhanging skin.

Blepharoplasty can be done on both the upper and lower eyelids. Some minor corrections in the upper lid can be easily corrected in the office with a little bit of local anesthesia in under an hour. More involved procedures will be done as an outpatient procedure.
