Injectable fillers are made of injectable biologic agents that are meant to provide bulk or volume to the surrounding tissue. This is technique provides a minimally invasive option to reduce the lines and wrinkles of the face without having to undergo a facelift procedure. These agents can be utilized to give volume to the cheeks and cheekbones, reduce the folds underneath the cheek (the nasolabial folds), give volume to the lips and reduce the appearance of wrinkles.

Injections are performed in the office and the effects, depending on the product selected, last for months to over a year.
