All patients and visitors on our main campus must enter our hospital via Shapiro, Menino, or Moakley buildings, where they will be greeted by team members at a new centralized check-in desk before continuing to the hospital. The multiple sleep latency test (MSLT) tests for excessive daytime sleepiness by measuring how quickly a patient falls asleep in a quiet place during the day. It is the standard tool used to diagnose narcolepsy and idiopathic hypersomnia.
