Neurosurgical and Spine Services

The Section of Spinal Neurosurgery at Boston Medical Center encompasses the most advanced techniques to correct surgical disorders of the spine and spinal cord. We are a diverse faculty of senior clinician-scientists, consisting of spine neurosurgeons, interventional neuroradiologists, neurologist pain specialists, radiation experts, and rehabilitation specialists with the goal of providing the best care for each patient. Advanced image-guidance and other systems help us accomplish safe and successful treatment of some of the most complex and the most traumatic spine diseases.

Spinal disease, including trauma, degenerative disease, tumors and vascular disease are addressed through traditional and minimally invasive treatment options. Other non-invasive options for hard-to-reach lesions are also offered, using our state-of-the-art Cyberknife radiation therapy unit, requiring no surgical incision.

Boston Medical Center Spine Neurosurgery stands on par with any private or academic group in the nation. Our spine surgeons continue to expand the frontiers of this specialty by developing and putting the latest techniques into practice. Our neurosurgeons are trained in brain and spinal surgery, and are members of the American Association of Neurological Surgeons (AANS) and Congress of Neurological Surgeons (CNS).
