Campus Construction Update

Starting September 14, we’re closing the Menino building lobby entrance. This, along with the ongoing Yawkey building entrance closure, will help us bring you an even better campus experience that matches the exceptional care you've come to expect. Neuroinfectious Diseases

Many infections, including HIV, endocarditis, and COVID-19, can affect the brain and nervous system. With training in autoimmune and inflammatory diseases, infectious neurology, vascular neurology, and neurocritical care, our doctors are uniquely able to provide expert care to people with these infections, as well as tropical infections and infectious causes of stroke.

Neuroinfectious Disease Training

The neuroinfectious disease division faculty participate in the education and training of residents and fellows who wish to gain experience in neuroinfectious diseases. Medical students may apply for a two-week elective in neuroinfectious diseases.

Neuroinfectious Disease Research

Our faculty are experts in the neurological complications of infectious diseases and actively leading research in this area. Our specialists are conducting research on infections in the neurocritical care unit, infectious causes of stroke including endocarditis, and neurological complications of HIV.
