Research Overview
Boston Medical Center is a collaborating site in the NIH Stroke Trials Network (NIH StrokeNet), which aims to further stroke treatment, prevention, and rehabilitation for patients across the United States. Our specialists are also researchers in the Framingham Heart Study based at Boston University, one of the world’s most informative and longest running studies on cardiovascular disesae. In addition, our faculty are actively recruiting patients in several clinical trials to further the care of patients with stroke.
